Group Controller (all genders)

 

 

Job description:

  • Preparation, consolidation and coordination of monthly reporting, annual financial statements, forecasts and medium-term planning at Group level
  • Further development of the group-wide reporting process as well as expansion of analysis and evaluation capabilities using the Jedox management reporting tool
  • Preparation of monthly reports, variance analyses, ad hoc evaluations and performance analyses at entity, division and Group level
  • Central Finance Business Partner and point of contact for the Frozen Bakery Division on all finance-related matters, including deriving recommendations for action for the division and its subsidiaries
  • Development of standardized and automated reporting and steering solutions, including data modelling and visualization
  • Central point of contact for subsidiaries on all reporting matters and the underlying Group guidelines
  • Use of AI-supported analysis and reporting solutions as well as promotion of data-driven decision-making processes
  • Continuous optimization of existing processes and structures

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration, business informatics or a comparable field of study with a focus on finance and controlling
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in consulting or controlling, ideally in Group controlling at an industrial company
  • Sound knowledge of databases and business intelligence tools, preferably Jedox, as well as the motivation to continuously develop these skills further
  • Strong Finance Business Partner mindset with a high level of service and solution orientation for different functions and hierarchy levels
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience in using Microsoft AI applications
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reporting under HGB
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to clearly structure complex matters and present them in an understandable way
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Proactive, independent and responsible way of working with a high level of diligence and attention to detail
  • High resilience, strong commitment and the ability to successfully drive several topics and projects forward at the same time
