Senior International Product Manager (m/f/d)
in our Frozen Bakery Division (FBD)
Core Job Duties and Responsibilities:
In this self-directed and high-impact role, you will be responsible for the initiation, planning, and execution of cross-selling strategies within the frozen bakery division. Reporting directly to the COO, you will:
- Oversee the planning and implementation of cross-selling initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Define and implement a core portfolio strategy for all product categories in FBD, encompassing existing products, innovation, listings, and delistings.
- Assess sales and volume potential to derive cross-selling strategies.
- Coordinate international assortment analysis and recommend improvements.
- Establish sales targets for cross-selling projects and integrate them into the planning budget of each company within the division
- Project management to oversee cross-selling projects, including new product launches and cross-company collaborations:
- Example projects include launching savory and sweet snacks in various countries through customer-specific development.
- Provide expertise and support for M&A initiatives.
You will build a strong network within the Martin Braun-Gruppe and serve as the primary point of contact for local Managing Directors, sales, and R&D teams, organizing process meetings with them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Food Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the food/FMCG industry, with expertise in product management and development
- Proven ability to think strategically, work collaboratively, and achieve results in a proactive manner
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with a focus on sales growth and profitability
- Experience in project management, with a track record of leading international teams and cross-company projects
- Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed (up to one week at a time)
