Head of Group Controlling (m/f/d)
Job description:
- Work with business leaders to support around 20 national and international entities
- Management of a small team responsible for group-wide controlling tasks
- Strategic controlling for C-level: key figure-based analyses, target-actual comparison, benchmarking, derivation of necessary recommendations for action
- Further development and group-wide management based of cashflow and working capital key figures
- Responsibility for monthly financial statements of the group, preparing analytical review and quality control of the monthly and annual financial statements of our subsidiaries
- Coordination of forecast and planning processes of the Martin Braun-Gruppe
- Responsibility for sub-project leading of M&A projects
- Coordination of financial/tax due diligence with external partners
- Creation, analysis and simulation of business cases as a basis for company valuation
- Definition of purchase price adjustment mechanisms for cash & debt free and working capital
- Continuous further development of the reporting and EPM tool (Jedox)
- Coordination of the transfer pricing documentation
- Special projects to advance proficiency in financial management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, or related field.
- Several years of work experience in the field of (investment) controlling and experience with M&A topics
- Strong knowledge of project management methods in practical application
- Confident handling with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and advanced knowledge of BI solutions
- Willingness to travel in Germany and abroad
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and German
- Excellent interpersonal and authentic leadership skills
- Strong analytical and multi-task abilities
- Self-confident and motivated to thrive in a complex group structure
