Global Technical Director (m/f/d)

Job description:

  • Establish and deploy group-wide operational standards, KPIs, and best practices to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

  • Lead cross-site collaboration, enabling knowledge sharing and aligned performance improvement across Operations Directors and plant teams

  • Optimize production processes through automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Provide expert technical guidance on equipment performance, maintenance strategies, and compliance with food safety and industry regulations

  • Oversee strategic CAPEX planning and delivery, ensuring projects meet financial, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability objectives

  • Shape the long-term industrial footprint, aligning capacity, technology, and site strategy with overall business growth plans

The ideal candidate:

  • Deep expertise in food manufacturing, bakery processes, and industrial engineering

  • Strong leadership and influence across multi-site, cross-functional environments

  • Strategic thinking with the capacity to translate business goals into operational plans

  • Mastery in large-scale CAPEX and engineering project management

  • Continuous improvement skills (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM)

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities

  • 10+ years in senior operations, engineering, or technical leadership roles in food manufacturing (bakery preferred)

  • Proven experience managing multi-site operations and complex CAPEX portfolios

  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in food production
